2nd District
Cedric Richmond
Important Deadline
Today is the last day to register to vote in Louisiana and it is crucial that every citizen who is eligible to vote does so.
This election represents a clear break in candidates and party platforms. Representative Richmond has always fought for measures that would create jobs in our state. Like President Obama, he understands the importance of keeping jobs at home, whether in the United States or locally in Louisiana. He has worked tirelessly to ensure that our jobs, wetlands, and communities are protected.

Lilly Ledbetter Anniversary
Dear friends,
I wanted to take a moment on this Sunday to acknowledge an important anniversary. Three years ago today, President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act into law, restoring the basic protections against pay discrimination for women and other workers.
